TRENDCYCLE emerged from the growing environmental and economic waste from the fast fashion industry. The fast fashion indsutry is among the five largest global polluters. Our rental based model gives more life to pieces of clothes in a given cycle of fashion trends by sharing between consumers.
Our goal is to equip college students with pieces that satisfy their needs without breaking the bank.Renting items provides students with the unique items their shopping for, in the window of time they need, at a lower cost to their budget and the environment. Between limited storage space, and the growing costs of statement pieces, rental based models just make sense.
My name is Gianna Murrell and I founded TRENDCYCLE in 2024. With the help of the Cal Poly Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship,I am looking to grow this start-up into a national movement.
